Kinesiology is a valuable technique in Holistic healing. Kinesiology is a process with many benefits that can help you to achieve healing and maintain good health. This noninvasive technique can be used to find the cause of your symptoms and also find the most appropriate means to correct your problems by helping your body to heal naturally.

 What is Kinesiology

Kinesiology is a system of Healthcare which uses muscle-testing to "speak" to the body. In this way a Kinesiologist can assess with precision what type of imbalance is at tile root of the problem.

Depending on the imbalance, the Kinesiologist can then tailor the treatment to the individual, again using muscle-testing. In this way it is possible to pinpoint the most appropriate support, which is both entirely safe and natural and stimulates the body's ability to heal itself. Treatments may be nutritional, or involve acupressure points.

Kinesiology is a non-intrusive therapy which is rapidly gaming recognition worldwide. It was "discovered" by a Califomian Chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart in 1972. It continues to be researched and developed and is practiced increasingly by therapists, chiropractors, doctors and dentists the world over. One of Dr. Goodheart's most important discoveries was that muscles, organs and the Chinese meridian system are interconnected. This ancient system provides a way of maintaining a balance of energy in the body.   Muscle-testing in Kinesiology can pinpoint imbalances of energy in the meridians.

Can Kinesiology be used as prevention as well as cure?

Kinesiology is ideally suited to preventive Healthcare. Used to maintain the physical, emotional and energy systems in balance, problems are less likely to arise. Under these conditions, optimum health can more easily be achieved. Furthermore, Kinesiology can detect imbalances before they develop into physical symptoms and disease.

  Neuro Emotional Technique.(N.E.T.)

The human body can be compared to a triangle. Each side of the triangle directly influences the other two sides. We are healthy when our structural, biochemical, and emotional aspects are harmoniously balanced. For more than 100 years, chiropractors have corrected subluxations of the spine. Subluxations cause diminished nerve and organ function, and spinal adjustments correct this structural side
of the triangle. In recent decades, clinical research has greatly advanced our understanding of body chemistry and how it is affected by the foods we eat, exposure to toxic pollution, and allergens. Health care professionals have many supports for the biochemical side of the triangle.

Now doctors can use a procedure called Neuro Emotional Technique (N.E.T.). N.E.T. addresses the emotional component, the third leg of the triangle of health, in a safe, effective, physiological way with a spinal adjustment.

It's human nature to have an emotional response to significant events in our lives and then return to our "normal" state of being. Sometimes, however, our bodies hold onto a response and "lock it" in our sympathetic nervous system as a neuro-emotional complex (N.E.C.). Eventually, negative emotions (conscious or unconscious) may manifest as a spinal subluxation and a specific imbalance in a muscle or acupuncture meridian. The net result is ill health.

Could someone have an N.E.C. and not be aware of it?

Yes. For example, say a young boy was forced against his will to get an injection in a doctor's office. This adult may now feel tense in any doctor's office, and may not have the slightest idea why. Spinal subluxations associated with this N.E.C. may result in increased pain and dysfunction.

What are emotions ?

In the past, people related to emotions as being psychologically based. Now scientific discoveries have shown emotions are physiologically based.

"A complex reaction pattern of changes in nervous, visceral, and skeletal-muscle tissues response to a stimulus... As a strong feeling, emotion is usually directed toward a specific person or event and involves wide spread physiological changes, such as increased heart
rate and inhibition of peristalsis.
- THE LONGMAN DICTIONARY OF PSYCHOLOGY AND PSYCHIATRY

Recent advancements in neuroscience demonstrate that emotions are an interaction between chains of amino acids which form neuropeptides and receptors. Emotions are normal physiological (organic) processes in the body, some of which are pleasant and others which are quite unpleasant.

Just as the physiology of muscles can be affected by subluxations, the physiology of emotions can also be affected. A muscle contracting, when and how you want it to, is normal physiology. When a muscle is in a state of constant contraction (or spasm) at an inappropriate time,
it is abnormal physiology, and we seek help to relieve the nerve pressure that is causing it. Similarly, when an emotional response is happening at an inappropriate time, it is also abnormal physiology, and we likewise may seek out help to relieve the nerve pressure that is causing it.

Where are Emotions?

We feel different emotions in different parts of our body in different ways. The ancient acupuncturists correlated the different emotions to different organ meridians in our body. For example: fear to the kidney,
anger to the liver, grief to the lungs, etc. Although the primary locations for the physiology of emotions are in the brain, spine, autonomic nervous system, and acupuncture circuits, emotions do affect any and all parts of the body in a physiological way. Researchers have now demonstrated that emotional biochemicals travel to almost every cell
in the body.

Emotions are good and necessary. Normally, a person can have an emotional trauma, experience the emotion and release the event. However, if this same person has a neuro-physiological deficit, the same emotional trauma can lodge in the body as an N.E.C. This is a reflex pattern very much associated with the conditioned response that
Ivan Pavlov documented so well. Restimulated N.E.C.S can cause recurrences of spinal subluxations and their remote complications.

N.E.T. is a methodology of finding and removing vertebral subluxations associated with N.E.C.s which are preventing abnormal emotional responses from returning to their normal physiology.

The N.E.T. doctor uses muscle testing, body reflex points, and semantic reactions (physiological reactions to memories or words) to assist and guide you to recall a specific negative emotions and when it first occurred. This engages a specific neuro-emotional pattern, much as a computer operator engages a specific program on a computer
screen. While you mentally hold the emotional memory, the doctor adjusts the associated spinal subluxations.

After an N.E.C. is treated

The spinal adjustment stabilizes the subluxation, as well as resolving muscle and meridian imbalances. The underlying negative emotion now loses its impact and is less likely to be restimulated. When a N.E.C. is eliminated, the nervous system can work better. It is important to
realize that spinal adjustments don't make life's problems go away. However, a person with a strong nervous system can usually deal with life's problems more effectively.

Is N.E.T. treatment safe?

Yes. Qualified doctors correct an N.E.C. with a safe and gentle adjustment of the spine. The entire procedure is not unpleasant, and often patients express immediate relief following the spinal adjustment. Now that the emotional side of the triangle of health has been strengthened, the patient can make enhanced gains in structural and
biochemical health.

 What is Neurolink?

Neurolink is not a technique. It is a complete system that employs neurological processes. It is not associated with the power of the mind.

Many excellent techniques are promoted today, but they frequently address only segments of health. Neurolink assesses the body as an integrated being - that is that all the systems in our bodies are related to each other, and do not work in isolation.

What does it treat? Nothing per se. Neurolink is a facilitation system using the brain as a "clearing house" to restore optimum function to all body systems. With this optimum function, the symptoms of ill health and disease can be resolved.

 When is a diagnosis correct?

Neurolink Is brain-driven and reliant on some 100 billion neurons.
While such numbers are mind-boggling, the reality is this:

Research indicates we are able to utilize up to only 10% of our brain's capacity. On this basis, the physician's diagnosis potentially involves a 90% margin of error.

21st century healthcare continues to reflect a "labeling" mentality: sciatica, excema, chronic fatigue, RSI, asthma, allergies, shin splints, and so the list goes on.

Are you happy to accept these symptoms and "labels", due to a diagnostic inability?

Only your brain can provide the information required to moke a 100% accurate diagnosis on your health problem.

Today, excellent laboratory screening tests and scans are available. While I use, and find these helpful, they frequently fail to determine why the body's Immune and defense mechanisms have failed.

Brain Phenomena:

The brain operates within a template that dictates your unique, individual, 'normal'

Operates at 400 kph, controlling 300,000 enzyme functions per minute

Contains 100 billion active neurons, each with some 20,000 connections

Interprets information from 260 million light receptors in the eyes

280,000,000,000,000,000,000 file capacity for thought processing

It is holographic

 The Brain is protective.

Neurolink, as the name implies, is the linking of brain pathways, similar to the electrical circuits in your home

When the amount of power to a specific circuit exceeds supply, a fuse will blow. Whilst power is lost to that circuit, the internal wiring system of your home is still protected. Similarly, your brain will recognize when maximum tolerances within any of your body's systems have been exceeded. When muscles, glands, and organs are taken beyond a given
threshold, their potential is reduced. Power failure in your home won't be remedied by renewing the fuse! Firstly, what's the cause of the overload?

In just the same way, Neurolink identifies the root cause. Only when the faulty pathway is recognized by the brain, will optimum function be restored.

 Why does your body breakdown?

The meaning of stress, both physical and mental, and how each of us reacts to it, will vary. How it affects your health and mine will vary. Your tolerance and my tolerance level to that stress will vary. When your level of tolerance is exceeded, your body is in inevitable danger

In a tennis game, when you lunge for a difficult shot and stress a thigh muscle to the point of intolerance, the brain will intervene. The muscle's ability to contract now becomes limited, and muscle damage is minimized. What happens now? The body endeavours to compensate
for the weakened thigh muscle by shifting responsibility to muscles of lesser strength. This leads to potential instability of your spine, pelvis, knee, and foot. Referred pain is the result of this weakened 'link' in a chain of command.

 How does Neurolink work?

Neurolink is a non-manipulative, stress and pain-free system, that the newborn to the very aged, and both the mentally and physically disadvantaged can benefit from.

It is a sequential system, employing muscle control as a reference, to go through and check on your body's "normal". Where there is abnormal activity, the brain becomes confused and can not recognize the problem. The Neurolink physician is a facilitator in feeding back to the brain, that there is an abnormality. Once the brain can identify the problem, it will correct it.

The data that is fed back, often reveals the underlying causes of symptoms, exposing you to the brain's profound ability to restore your body to its individual, full potential. Only your brain holds the key to your optimum health.
